• Hours are Tuesday-Friday, noon to 5:30 pm and Saturday, 9am to noon
• Visa & MasterCard accepted during Box Office hours.
• Tickets for all shows may be purchased in our lobby starting one hour before each scheduled performance, subject to availability.

Driving Directions:

• From the South:


• From I-89 North, take Vermont exit 6. Follow signs to Barre down the hill. You will go through a flashing yellow light about half way down the hill.
  
• At the bottom of the hill is a traffic light. Turn left. You are now on Route 14 going North. Continue about 2 miles through South Barre and into Barre, going through one traffic light.
  
• At the next traffic light, in the center of Barre (large white church on right/post office on left) turn left onto Prospect St. Then immediately turn right onto Merchant's Row. You are now directly behind the Barre Opera House, and there is plenty of metered parking in this area. The main entrance is accessible from this parking area.
  

• From the North:


• Interstate 89 to exit 7. Route 62 to Barre. You will go straight through 4 traffic lights and down a long hill. At end of Route 62 (approximately 3 miles from interstate 89) you will come to a traffic light. Turn right, which is south on Route 14. Stay on route 14 south. At second traffic light, there is a small park on your left and the building on the near right corner is the Opera House. Turn right at the light onto Prospect St., then right again immediately past building onto Merchant's Row. You are now directly behind the Barre Opera House, and there is plenty of metered parking in this area. Our main entrance is accessible from this parking area.
  

• Directions from the east (routes 302 or 14)


• Route 302 from E. Barre and beyond: comes into town as Washington St. In center of town you are at a traffic light with the Aldrich Library on your right and the City Hall Park (with granite statue and gazebo) on your left. Turn left at this light onto Route 14 south. This is a sharp left-hand turn around City Hall Park. At next traffic light, the Park is still on your left and the Opera House is on your right. Turn right onto Prospect St., then immediately right onto Merchant's Row. You are now directly behind the Barre Opera House, and there is plenty of metered parking in this area. The main entrance is accessible from this parking area.
  
• Route 14 from E. Montpelier and beyond: comes into town as Maple Ave. At junction of Maple Ave. and N. Main St. (traffic light - junctions of routes 14 and 302) turn left, following Route 14 south. At second traffic light after this turn, there is a small park on your left and the building on the near right corner is the Opera House. Turn right at the light onto Prospect St., then right again immediately past building onto Merchant's Row. You are now directly behind the Barre Opera House, and there is plenty of metered parking in this area. The main entrance is accessible from this parking area.
